Flowers June/July up to heights of 120cm.
Like most popular bulbs, Alliums will grow in a wide range of soils if there's sufficient drainage. They like the sunshine but partial shade will preserve the flowers.
Great for planting in groups and in borders.
Late planting in autumn prevents them from making early shoots which can be damaged by frost.
Taylor's Tip: Plant taller varieties to the rear of borders. They also make excellent cut flowers.
