DELIVERY
Lancaster's Local Delivery
Our traditional delivery service for local delivery, especially of heavier products, costs £4.99 for all areas in our catchment (see below).
We currently deliver Monday - Saturday between 8am - 4pm.
Please be aware that delivery times can be affected by Low Traffic Neighborhoods and School Street schemes.
We have a system in place during checkout that allows you to select a preferred day. This lets us know when it would be best to deliver to you. It is not a guarantee or confirmation, although it is usually achievable. This includes next-day delivery.
Bulk products such as topsoil or sand must be arranged over the phone after purchase as they are delivered via crane lorry.
Delivery to docks and marinas, Central East, North, or Inner London is usually made on a Saturday, the driver will contact you via text or telephone on the preceding Friday.
Please place orders to docks and marinas by Wednesday of the same week to guarantee delivery the same week.
Due to our vans being open-backed, most items that are delivered to flats/apartments will have to be collected from the front of the premises.
Orders will be carried through properties at the driver's discretion.

Nationwide Shipping
Nationwide shipping covers any UK mainland area outside of those shown in the map above.
This is only available for orders below 10kg.
We ship all of our orders using Royal Mail.
We offer rates between £4.99 and £8.99 based on weight, which are calculated at checkout. You will then be given the option to choose between Royal Mail Tracked 24 or 48.
Any order that contains a bladed item will be sent using the Royal Mail age verification service.
Orders placed Mon - Fri before 1 pm will be shipped the same day where possible. Orders placed over the week will be shipped on the next working day.
All orders are shipped using recycled, recyclable, or compostable packaging.
Collection
Collection is available same day and usually within 1 hour, though please allow for a short delay at busier times.
RETURNS
We can offer returns on all non-perishable products if they are in a sellable condition upon return.
If items need to be collected, we implement a return cost of up to £4.99, which varies depending on the products and area.
The customer is liable to pay for returns via courier or post.
Items can be returned to the store to avoid a return fee. A receipt is generally required, however, if you have notified us ahead of your visit, we can usually confirm which member of staff served you & accept a return without a receipt.
If conditions are met, items will be eligible for refund, exchange, or store credit.
Turf, Christmas trees, cut flowers, and other perishable products cannot be returned.
Plant Returns
We always aim to provide the best plants to our customers and try to match the product images as much as we can. Nature, however, has other plans, and plants will often have natural variations or (rarely) be hit with disease.
If you wish to return a plant, please let us know as soon as possible after delivery. We will not accept the return of plants after 7 days.
Plants must also be cared for whilst they are in your possession. Returns cannot be processed for plants that are in a non-sellable condition unless the condition was caused by disease, fungus, or rot that we agree originated in our shop.
If you believe it has been damaged during transit, we will require photo evidence.
Plant return costs are subject to the same rules as other products.
Refunds are given at our discretion after examination by one of our team.
