DELIVERY
Lancaster's Local Delivery
Our delivery service costs between £ 5.99 and £9.99 and is calculated during checkout using your postcode. The zones are shown on the map below.
The minimum spend for the Blue, Red and Congestion charge zones is £20. For all other zones, it is £10.
We currently deliver Monday - Saturday between 8 am - 4 pm.
We have a system during checkout that allows you to select a preferred day for delivery. The day you choose lets us know when it would be best to deliver to you. Although next-day delivery is almost always achieved, it is not guaranteed or confirmed.
Bulk products such as topsoil must be arranged over the phone after purchase as they are delivered via crane lorry.
Delivery to docks, marinas, Central East, North, or Inner London is usually made on a Saturday. The driver will contact you via text or telephone on the preceding Friday.
Please place orders to docks and marinas by Wednesday of the same week to guarantee delivery the same week.
Our vans are open-backed and cannot be left unattended. Therefore, customers living in flats or apartments must collect items from the front of the premises or arrange a space to store them.
Orders will be carried through properties at the driver's discretion.
Please be aware that delivery times can be affected by Low Traffic Neighborhoods and School Street schemes.

Nationwide Shipping
Nationwide shipping covers any UK mainland area outside of those shown in the map above and is only available for orders below 10kg.
We ship all of our orders using Royal Mail.
We offer rates between £4.99 and £8.99 based on weight, calculated at checkout. You can choose Royal Mail Tracked 24 or 48.
Any order containing a bladed item is sent using the Royal Mail age verification service.
Orders placed Monday through Friday before 1 pm will be shipped the same day. Orders placed during the weekend will be shipped the next working day.
All orders are shipped using recycled, recyclable, or compostable packaging.
Collection
Shop collection is available on the same day, and usually within 1 hour, though please allow for a short delay at busier times.
RETURNS
We can offer returns on all non-perishable products if they are in a sellable condition upon return.
If items need to be collected, we implement a return cost of up to £9.99. Return cost will reflect the original delivery or shipping charge.
The customer is liable to pay for returns via courier or post.
Items can be returned to the store to avoid a return fee. Although a receipt is generally required, if you notify us before your visit, we can confirm which staff member served you and accept a return without a receipt.
If conditions are met, items will be eligible for refund, exchange, or store credit.
Turf, Christmas trees, cut flowers, and other perishable products cannot be returned.
Plant Returns
We always aim to provide the best plants to our customers and try to match the product images as much as possible. Nature, however, has other plans, and plants will often have natural variations or (rarely) be hit with disease.
If you wish to return a plant, please let us know as soon as possible after delivery. We will not accept the return of plants after 48 hours.
Plants must also be cared for whilst they are in your possession. Returns cannot be processed for plants in a non-sellable condition unless the condition results from disease, fungus, or rot that we agree originated in our shop.
We require photo evidence if you believe we damaged your plant during transit.
Plant return costs are subject to the same rules as other products.
Refunds will be given at our discretion after examination by one of our team.
