BetterGrow Vermiculite

Vermiculite is a natural mineral (magnesium-aluminium-iron silicate) found in many countries like the USA and South Africa.

Its main quality is the ability to soak up three to four times its weight in water, but it also lures essential plant nutrients like potassium, magnesium, and calcium. Both the water and nutrients are slowly released into the soil.

Also great for use as a soil aeration agent.

Vermiculite is perfect for seed sowing and propagation, especially for spreading on top of seed trays to create the ideal germination environment.

Also try mixing it into the soils of any houseplant that always seems thirsty, such as ferns.
