A flowering grass that's native to the warmer climes of southern Europe, specifically the south of France where it was discovered by Dominique Villars in 1787. They boast pale blue needle-like grassy stems and produce equally blue flower heads in the summer.
Perfect for mixing into rock gardens, the front of borders and gravel style gardens as they're become very drought tolerant once established.
