Lavender 'Hidcote'
It’s a bona fide classic. The one that you’ve probably seen in every garden ever. The ‘Hidcote’ Lavender is usually thrown in the group known as English Lavenders and this variety is purple flowering. It’s easily cared for an can be grown in anything from pots to borders as long as the soil is well drained and they’re placed in a position that receives full sun.
The long stems and scented purple flowers makes them one of the best plants for attracting pollinators into your garden and can even be harvested for use as a cut flower throughout the season.
