Magnolia 'Soulangeana'
£34.95
Magnolia soulangeana first flowered in 1826, the brainchild of a retired cavalry officer from Napoleon's army. These bushes/trees continue to produce blooms in early spring before any leaves form, after that, you'll have a nice green shrub until the autumn.
They'll do the best in soils that lean onto the acidic side of things and will love it if you give them a mulch in the spring with manure or leaf mould.
It tolerates clay soils and pollution, which is ideal for a London garden.
