National Trust Premium Sunflower Hearts
Picked from premium bakery and candy-grade stock, these hearts are the fullest and most perfect seeds, rid of all the shells.
In the winter, a Blue Tit can spend up to 85% of the daytime just eating to make it through. By feeding them sunflower hearts, the process of cracking open the dark husk is eliminated, giving birds more time to efficiently fuel up.
Even birds who don't usually eat seeds, like thrushes, Robins and Blackbirds, have been caught joyfully dining on these hearts.
A percentage of each purchase of the National Trust range goes towards their conservation projects that directly benefit wildlife.
