Give your garden a neat, natural finish while helping to keep beds and borders easier to maintain with Westland Bed & Border Chipped Bark.

Made up of attractive 20–40mm brown bark chips, this versatile mulch is ideal for spreading around shrubs, flowers, trees and other planting. As well as providing an attractive decorative layer, the bark helps reduce weed growth and slows moisture loss from the soil, helping plants make better use of available water. It also provides a layer of insulation around plant roots, helping to protect them from fluctuations in temperature.

The larger chip size makes it particularly useful for creating a defined, tidy appearance in borders and around established planting. It can also be used on top of compost in pots and containers, helping to retain moisture and give finished displays a smart, natural appearance.

For best results, apply to a weed-free surface at a depth of approximately 2.5–5cm. A suitable membrane can be used underneath for additional weed suppression.
